    Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing tweeted out from his account after a visit to Pensacola, Florida that he has been cleared for the 2014 season. Cushing has missed 9 games last season after breaking his leg and tearing his LCL on a cut block from Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles. During the 2012 season, Cushing missed 11 games after he was chopped blocked by Matt Slauson in a game against the New York Jets that ended with a torn ACL. Mathews was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 7th round (238th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati. The 6-3 300lbs. defensive lineman has spent the past four seasons with the Colts and has totaled 51 total tackles and 1.5 sacks. According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport the Houston Texans will be hosting University at Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack next week. Mack has been tagged as one of the most versatile defensive players in the draft and a good fit for Romeo Crennel’s 3-4 defense at outside linebacker. The draft obviously won’t go in the exact order of any website’s rankings, but to avoid guessing on availability in the late rounds, I will go by the list from CBS.
