Ben Tate Sets the Story Straight
Houston Texans running back Ben Tate put a stop to a rumor in its tracks that mentioned he waved Arian Foster off the field in the 4th quarter. Foster was visibly frustrated being taken out of the game and the ESPN camera’s caught his reaction.
Foster described himself as competitive and the reason for his actions was that he wanted to be on the field with his teammates.
Tate took to twitter to voice his displeasure with media trying to create issues between the two running backs.
4 the record I never waived @ArianFoster off the field typical Media talk trying to stir up stuff smh

Head Coach Gary Kubiak made it clear he was going to try and split the carries evenly during the early part of the season until Foster returns to playing shape. Foster missed the entire preseason with lingering health issues and using Tate will only help the Texans in the long run.
