Jersey Watch, Browns Edition

The good things about NFL games is the different football jerseys that come out on Sunday’s across the NFL. This past Sunday at the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans game there were some quality football players being represented, and some that make you wonder what were they thinking.

Enjoy our first installment of the Jersey Watch.

Starting Left to Right on the Top Row

Someone was ready for Monday night football early with Hines Ward’s #86. I guess representing the AFC North was the goal here.

Yes Bernie Kosar #19, a Cleveland Brown immortal, a good jersey in my opinion.

I guess it is ok to wear the Earl Campbell #34 in the all but recognizable baby blue. Since Bum’s son Wade is working at Reliant it makes everything good.

One of the original Texans’, Jamie Sharper had his old #55 represented. By the way Sharper was signing autographs before the game outside.

Leroy Hoard #33 was Techmo Bowl gold with his hard-nosed runs, but this is a classic and is good in our books.

Another one we were good with was the late Eric Turner #29 who helped define the safety position as we knew it.

Yes a fan favorite to some, but the disappointing Amobi Okoye’s #91 was on display. The crazy thing is that no one misses him, especially that we are seeing on the field. Okoye is backing up in Chicago now.

It is apparent how Cleveland fans feel about the former Brown in Braylon Edwards. The masking tape through the name, ouch.

What makes Andre Rison’s #80 funny is the fact he played only one season with the team in 1995. “Bad Moon” was just a stop in his 7 different team journey through the NFL.

The Bears played great on Sunday, wait they play on Monday night. It was the Texans vs. the Browns at Reliant, FYI. The Brian Urlacher jersey still made it out to Houston.

The double #12, Browns quarterback Colt McCoy got plenty of love from the pro-Longhorn crowd. His college and pro jersey were worn proudly in the stands.

Peyton Hillis was sitting near us, he had no carries during the game, hamstring issue.
