SOTT Fan Favorite: Liberty White Division

This is a winner take all competition between former NFL Players who used to suit up for the Houston Texans. Players currently on the roster are not eligible for the competition.  We have tried to cut down the list of the most popular players with the fans.

Round 1

Vonta Leach vs. Joel Dreessen

Vonta Leach (2006-2010)

Leach was an undrafted free agent who found a home in Houston and ended up making the Pro Bowl (2010) before he left in free agency. Leach’s biggest game was when he was destroying Colts players, opening holes for Arian Foster’s big day in 2010. Leach also played special teams and gave the offense much-needed attitude.

Joel Dreessen (2007-2011)

Another undrafted free agent, Dreessen became one of the most complete players to take the field for the Texans. In 2011, he had a breakout season with this blocking and led the team in receiving touchdowns with 6.

Aaron Glenn vs.  Kris Brown

Aaron Glenn (2002-2004)

Glenn holds the team record for interceptions returned for touchdowns (2) and was a Pro Bowl selection in his first season in Houston. In three seasons with the Texans, he had 11 career interceptions.

Kris Brown (2002-2009)

The franchise’s all time leading scorer by a wide margin with 767 points, Brown also holds the record for most games played for the Texans with 128. Brown, despite a shaky ending with the Texans, was a solid player for the Texans throughout his career in Houston.
