Rick Dennison on the Bears Radar

According to Adam Schefter,

Offensive coordinator Rick Dennison was also in the running for the Denver Broncos coaching vacancy before John Fox was hired in 2011. Dennison is considered a hot commodity, especially knowing the zone systems like he does.

To make the Chicago Bears job more intriguing he was with Jay Cutler in Denver as the offensive coordinator 2006-2008. Also, Brandon Marshall was there with Dennison and Cutler, so there is some interest for him in Chicago. Cutler and Marshall put together good seasons for the Broncos in 2008 where both made the pro bowl which was Dennison’s last season as the Broncos offensive coordinator.

Dennsion could be part of a growing list of offensive coordinators under Head Coach Gary Kubiak to take a step up in the coaching ranks, and this could be a good hire for the Bears if they can get him to Chicago.
