Texans Release Kevin Walter

According to Adam Schefter the Houston Texans have released veteran wide receiver Kevin Walter.

Walter was due $4.5 million in 2013 but this move should come as no surprise for any fans who have watched the Texans.

After signing with Houston in 2006, Walter posted 326 receptions with 4,083 yards and 24 touchdowns. He has been a starter for the Texans opposite Andre Johnson for the past 7 seasons which he has played 109 games.
