Texans Hold Private Workout with Jamar Taylor

According to Walter Football the Houston Texans held a private workout for Boise State cornerback, Jamar Taylor. Taylor was first connected with the Texans at the 2013 Senior Bowl, and seems to still be held in high regard with the organization.

Taylor lit up the 2013 NFL Combine and ran a 4.39 second 40-yard dash and benched 225 lbs. 22 times which where both in the tops of the results for his position group. Taylor comes from a long line of Boise State defensive backs and is looking to the 6th to be drafted in the last eight years.

During his senior season at Boise State, Talyor started 13 games and posted 51 tackles, 2.5 sacks with 14 pass deflections and 4 interceptions. He also caused 3 fumbles which only proved his play making ability he showed for the Broncos.

Taylor is highly regarded and looks like to be a top two round prospect during the NFL Draft.
