Arian Foster Removed from PUP List

The Houston Texans have activated running back Arian Foster off the PUP list.

This marks the first practice time for Foster since the second day of OTAs.  Foster was injured in a non contact situation which turned out to be a calf strain.

Foster did not participate in training camp or the first two preseason games.  Despite his calf being healed, he started having back issues during rehab which slowed his comeback from the PUP.

This is a good sign for the Texans and getting healthy for the start of the season.  Throw in that DeVier Posey was activated from the PUP earlier in the week, the list only has Ed Reed on it.

The workload for Foster will be light for the remainder of the preseason and getting him ready for the week one game against the San Diego Chargers is the main goal.
