Texans Bring Back Nate Menkin

The Houston Texans have brought back offensive tackle Nate Menkin to the practice squad. Menkin was waived after the final cuts to get the roster down to the league mandated 53 man roster. Menkin was acquired via trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for wide receiver Jeff Maehl.

Menkin was brought into camp during the 2012 season and on the last cut down day he was claimed by the Eagles. He was inactive but on the Eagles 53 man roster before an injury landed him on the injured reserve.

Menkin, 6-5 and 300 lbs. out of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, has been working at offensive tackle for the Texans. With the Texans bringing back Menkin to the practice squad, the team will have to make a move and release one off the practice squad.
