Owen Daniels Getting an MRI

Houston Texans starting tight end Owen Daniels will have an MRI on his fibula which he injured during Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite this injury, Daniels played in 60 of the 77 total plays for the Texans offense and had 6 receptions for 60 yards in the game.

The loss of any Texans player would not be a good thing, but the emergence of Garrett Graham at the second tight end position could help out in the short-term. This is a situation to watch for the Texans regarding Daniels health.

Daniels on the season has 24 receptions for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns.
