Owen Daniels Out 4-6 Weeks

The Houston Texans were dealt a tough blow with Owen Daniels suffering a non-displaced fracture to his fibula on Sunday night. The play was at the 8:51 mark in the 4th quarter on a simple catch over the middle. For a struggling offense, this comes at a bad time for the Texans and what they like to do offensively. Daniels has 24 receptions for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns. The injury is set to keep Daniels out 4-6 weeks and will put Garrett Graham as the new starting tight end.

Daniels will be placed on injured reserve with the designation to return and will open up a roster spot for the Texans. Rookie Ryan Griffin will get increased playing time for the offense with this injury.
