Report: Texans To Add Deji Karim on Monday

According to CBS Sports, Jason LaCanfora, the Houston Texans will add free agent running back Deji Karim on Monday to the active roster. Karim was with the team in training camp and lost out to recently waived Cierre Wood in the last round of cuts after the final preseason game.

Karim will be the third back and be used to help out on kickoff returns for games moving forward. Karim, during the preseason, had 15 rushes for 92 yards for a 6.1 yard average per rush.  He also had 1 catch for 15 yards. He is in his 4th season out of Southern Illinois and is 5-8 and 209 lbs.

Also according to LaCanfora, the Texans will add a fourth running back to fill another of the five roster spots currently open.
