Arian Foster Ruled Out For Arizona

The Houston Texans have ruled out running back Arian Foster for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Foster was dealing with a hamstring injury that took him out of the Kansas City Chiefs game on the first drive, and on Sunday Night Foster was shut down after the first series against the Indianapolis Colts.

Foster this season has 121 rushes for 542 yards and 1 touchdown and 22 receptions for 183 yards and a touchdown.

There are questions surrounding the amount of touches he received in 2012 (460 touches) and if that is contributing to his lingering health issues this season. Either way, Foster is close to being shut down for the season at this rate. Expect Ben Tate, Dennis Johnson and Deji Karim to pick up the running game for the last eight games.
