Texans Sign Loyce Means to the Practice Squad

Former University of Houston Cougar free agent defensive back Loyce Means has been signed to the Houston Texans practice squad. Means has spent time with the Buffalo Bills during the 2011 preseason, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) and with the Green Bay Packers during the 2013 preseason.

Means was released by the Packers on the final cut down day before the Packers set their 53 man roster. At 5-10 and 188 lbs., Means appeared in 3 games this preseason for the Packers and totaled 6 tackles and one pass deflection.

Means appeared in 38 games for the U of H Cougars (2007-2010) and tallied 85 total tackles, 8 interceptions, 21 passes defended and two return touchdowns.
