Texans Claim Justin Rogers Off of Waivers

The Houston Texans have claimed cornerback Justin Rogers off of waivers today. Rogers was waived by the Buffalo Bills who has been with them since 2011 when he was drafted out of Richmond (7th round, 206th overall). He measures in at 5-11 and 181 pounds and is in his 3rd season in the NFL.
Rogers for his career has 76 total tackles and 3 career interceptions while appearing in 34 games, starting 7 games. This season, he started five games and had 23 total tackles with an interception. He also has returned kicks and punts for the Bills in 2011 and 2012.
According to reports, the Houston Texans have waived inside linebacker D.J. Smith to make room for Rogers.
