Joe Marciano Relieved of Duties as Special Teams Coordinator

In another move, the Houston Texans have relieved special teams coordinator Joe Marciano of his duties.  This comes on the heels of the Texans firing head coach Gary Kubiak this afternoon, announced by team Owner Bob McNair.

Marciano has spent 12 seasons with the Texans and it started in 2002 when he joined the new franchise from day one. He has spent 28 seasons in the NFL and this comes as no surprise with the recent play of the special teams over the recent years. With Marciano being let go, the Texans have promoted the special teams assistant coach Bob Ligashesky to the position for the remainder of the season.
