Report: Bill O’Brien Contacted by the Texans

According to CBS Sports’ Jason LaCanfora, the Houston Texans have contacted Penn State’s Head Coach Bill O’Brien. O’Brien is to be said to “be ready to return” to the NFL game, with some issues at Happy Valley concerning his coaching staff, it seems that the door has opened for a return.

O’Brien was on Texans’ Owner Bob McNair’s shortlist of candidates for the head coaching vacancy left when Gary Kubiak was fired. This is the second coach to be contacted by the Texans, former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith has been contacted.
