Matt Schaub Set to Start Against Denver

The Houston Texans have announced that Matt Schaub will return to the starting lineup to take the place of the injured Case Keenum (Thumb). Schaub gets his first start since October 13th against the St. Louis Rams, the game where his ankle was injured. With a 2-4 record as a starter in 2013, Schaub struggled with interceptions and confidence which ultimately led to him being benched.

For the season, Schaub has thrown for 1,905 yards, 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has shown the ability to move the Texans offense between the 20-yard lines, but scoring touchdowns has been the biggest issue.
