Lovie Smith Interviews with the Texans

The Houston Texans have started their search for their new head coach and it started with Lovie Smith being interviewed.  Smith was named as one of the candidates by Owner Bob McNair and will be the first in line for the open position.

Smith’s career coaching record during nine seasons with the Chicago Bears is 84-66, including 3-3 in the playoffs. He also had a Super Bowl appearance in 2007 but was fired after they finished 10-6 last season.

Smith was interviewed during the season because he is currently not with a team. The majority of the other candidates are with NFL and college teams and their interviews will happen at a later date.
