J.J. Watt Earns 1st Team All-Pro

16 games, 80 total tackles (65 total, 15 assist) 10.5 sacks, 7 pass deflections, 4 forced fumbles, 22 TFLs.

These are the stats posted by Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt who garnered 2013 1st team AP All-Pro team honors. This marks the second consecutive season that Watt has been on the 1st team and joins Andre Johnson as the only two Texans in team history to be selected twice to the first team.

Watt has been in the NFL for three complete seasons since being drafted 11th overall in the 2011 NFL draft out of Wisconsin. He has been a dominate force for the Texans defense, and in the past two seasons he has racked up 31 sacks and pushed his career total to 36.5 which is second in franchise history only behind former Texan Mario Williams (53).

He has been rewriting the Texans record book and was one of the few bright spots on a 2-14 team.
