Duane Brown Headed to the Pro Bowl

The Houston Texans announced that starting left tackle Duane Brown has been added to the Pro Bowl replacing Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters. This marks Brown’s second consecutive appearance in the Pro Bowl and second overall in his career.

Brown had a down season compared to what Texans fans have grown accustomed to from the book end left tackle. He battled turf toe all season which hampered his play on the field, especially in pass protection.

Brown will join teammates Andre Johnson and J.J. Watt in Hawaii for the annual event.

The 2014 Pro Bowl teams will be determined through the Pro Bowl Draft held on Wednesday, January 22. Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will serve as alumni captains, choosing the two rosters.
