J.J. Watt Wants Duane Brown on His Team for the Pro Bowl

With the new format of the 2014 Pro Bowl, the duo of J.J. Watt and Jamaal Charles will be together as captains picking their team for the upcoming game. The Houston Texans defensive end has already started working to get his current teammate left tackle Duane Brown on his squad with a little help from Charles.

This will mark the first time the annual game is non conference (AFC vs. NFC) and teams will be picked by the captains with the help of Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice. The Texans have two players participating in the game in Watt abd Brown, while Andre Johnson dropped from the game due to a wrist injury.

The 2014 Pro Bowl Draft will be nationally televised on January 21-22 with primetime broadcasts on NFL Networkon Tuesday (8:00-9:00 PM ET) and Wednesday (8:00-11:00 PM ET).

The Pro Bowl Draft will be held in Kapolei, HI on the grounds of Lanikuhonua, adjacent to the JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort & Spa. All 88 Pro Bowl players are expected to be in attendance for Wednesday’s live show.

The 2014 Pro Bowl, presented by McDonald’s, will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game will be televised live on Sunday, January 26 on NBC at 7:00 PM ET.
