Aaron Donald and the Texans Meet

One of the most decorated players in the NFL draft, defensive tackle Aaron Donald has made the rounds with the Houston Texans in the interview process at the NFL Combine according to Walter Football. Donald who won the Chuck Bednarik (College D.P.O.Y.) and Bronko Nagurski Award (Best D player in the NCAA) is one of the more gifted players in the NFL draft.

Measuring in at 6-1 and 285 lbs., Donald was the anchor of the Pittsburgh Panthers defense since his sophomore season. Appearing in 51 games for the Panther he totaled 181 total tackles with 29.5 sacks which was impressive for an interior lineman.

Donald solidified his position in this draft class with a solid showing at the NFL combine showing speed and strength for his size. With the Texans new defense philosophy Donald could be a good fit at the defensive end position, but hoping he gets to day two of the draft would need to happen to get Donald.
