Texans Sign Ryan Fitzpatrick to a 2-Year Deal


The Houston Texans are signing free agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick  to a two-year contract to reports. The Texans are now starting movement with their roster and the addition of Fitzpatrick the quarterback position should start taking shape.

Fitzpatrick has appeared in 85 career games with a 27-49-1 career record.

For his career he has thrown for 16,790 yards with 106 touchdowns and 93 interceptions. His best season was in 2010 with the Buffalo Bills where he three for 3,000 yards with 23 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 NFL draft (250th overall) out of Harvard. He has spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans.

He is in his 10th season in the NFL and is 6-2 and 223 lbs.
