Texans to Host Johnny Manziel In Houston

Houston Texans’ insider Deepi Sidhu confirmed with General Manage Rick Smith, the Houston Texans will be hosting Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel in a pre draft visit.

NFL rules allow NFL teams to use 30 visits prior to the NFL draft to visit with potential draft picks. Manziel will join fellow in-coming quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles who the Texans already have meetings lined up with.

After Manziel’s Pro Day in College Station, the Texans would be holding private meeting with the Aggie quarterback. 75 representatives from 30 NFL teams attended the high publicized pro day, and Head Coach Bill O’Brien was in attendance.

Manziel opted to do his pro day in helmet and shoulder pads and put on impressive display going 61-64 on his scripted passes.
