The Houston Texans have added two new names to their Pre-Draft visits in offensive tackle Jake Matthews from Texas A&M and Auburn defensive end Dee Ford.

Reports are that Ford has already had his visit with the Texans which included a workout and marked the second time they have met with him. The 6-2 and 252 lbs. defensive end was a key piece for the Auburn defense. He missed majority of the 2011 season with a back injury but was granted a medical hardship by the NCAA to grant him another year of eligibility.

At his time at Auburn, Ford had 93 total tackles with 20.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss.

As for Matthews, he has been one of the more decorated offensive lineman in the Nation for the past couple of seasons. With NFL blood lines in his father, Bruce Matthews, there is plenty of talk of Matthews being one of the top two offensive lineman in the draft.

At Texas A&M he garnered All-American selections in 2012 and 2013 and first team All-SEC in 2012 and 2013.

The 6-5 and 305 lbs. tackle is considered more of a power player that could easily be an offensive line’s cornerstone for the near future.
