Texans Workout Running Back Kasey Carrier

The Houston Texans brought in New Mexico running back Kasey Carrier to their local Pro-Day on Saturday. Carrier was a team captain for the Lobos for his senior season and at 5-9 and 185 lbs. he put himself on the college football scene with a breakout junior season.

For the Lobos, Carrier during his junior season rushed the ball 255 times for 1,469 yards and 15 touchdowns which led to him being put on the initial Maxwell Award watch list for the 2013 season. During his senior campaign, Carrier had 189 carried for 1,122 yards and 9 touchdowns.

He finished his career with 3,233 rushing yards which ranked him 5th in school history and holds the most rushing yards in a season (1,469).

Carrier is a native of Pearland, Texans and attended Pearland High School.
