The Texans Select Xavier Su’a-Filo

The Houston Texans select UCLA offensive lineman Xavier Su’a-Filo. At 6-4 and 307 lbs. Su’a Filo has the ability to play offensive guard or tackle.

He started all 13 games as a Freshman in 2009 before going on his Mormon mission for two years. Su’a-Filo returned for the 2013 season to and started all 13 games for the Bruins. After his junior season, he declared for the NFL draft.

After starting all 40 games in his Bruins career, he garnered All-AMerican Honors and was awarded the Morris Trophy as the PAC-12’s best conference offensive lineman.
