Tyson Clabo Visits the Texans

The Houston Texans have hosted free agent offensive tackle Tyson Clabo at NRG Stadium as potential help at tackle. Clabo according to Adam Caplan (ESPN) visited the Texans last Thursday prior to the Texans breaking for the short break before training camp.

Clabo spent his best seasons with the Atlanta Falcons where he spent time with current Texans offensive line coach Paul Dunn that resulted in a Pro Bowl in 2010. After a successful stint with the Falcons he signed a free agent deal with the Miami Dolphins for one year and $3.5 million and was not resigned by the team after the 2013 season.

He had visited the Arizona Cardinals early last week and this is his second visit in the past two weeks.

Clabo has appeared in 106 games starting all 106 of the games. He went undrafted out of Wake Forest in 2004 and spent time on the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and San Diego Chargers practice squads in 2004 before the Falcons signed him off the Broncos practice squad.

This news comes on the heels of the Texans signing free agent offensive lineman Will Yeatman last week to a two year deal.
