Syracuse Offensive Tackle Jamar McGloster Meets with the Houston Texans at the Shrine Game

According to Trevor Sikkema from the Pewter Report, the Houston Texans met with Syracuse offensive tackle Jamar McGloster after day three of Shrine Game practices. McGloster measured in at 6′ 6″ and 316 lbs. with an 82-1/8″ wingspan.

McGloster was a two-year starter at right tackle and played in over 1,000 offensive snaps in 2017 for the Orangemen. He recorded 12 knockdowns and was one of the few durable offensive linemen on whom Syracuse could depend on this past season. In 2016, he started 12 games at right tackle and was second that season with 824 snaps played on the offensive line.

With the Texans needs at offensive line, especially offensive tackle, the team will leave no stone unturned on prospects who play those positions.

McGloster is considered a late day-three or rookie free agent prospect.
