Texans Sign Steven Terrell To the Practice Squad


The Houston Texans have signed free agent defensive back Steven Terrell to the practice squad to fill the void left by running back Ray Graham, who was promoted to the active roster. Terrell was with the Jacksonville Jaguars during training camp and was released by them on the final cut down before the season started. At 5-10 and 193 lbs., Terrell was working at safety for the Jaguars on their practice squad. Terrell attended Texas A&M University where he was a team captain and, as a senior in College Station, he registered 61 tackles with 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and 7 pass deflections….

Aggies’ Jones and McNeal Workout for Texans


The Houston Texans hosted two Texas A&M Aggies at a private workout at the Methodist Training Center. Aggies wide receiver, Kenric McNeal (pictured above) and defensive back C.J. Jones were some of the workouts on a busy Saturday for the Texans. McNeal ran a 4.44 second 40-yard dash, and impressed according to reports from his workout. As a Senior, McNeal (6-1, 184 lbs.) had 19 receptions for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns, and for his career he had 56 receptions for 665 yards and 5 touchdowns. Defensive back C.J.
