Texans sign Omar Gaither
A day after reserve inside linebacker Keyaron Fox injured his knee in practice which landed him on the injured reserve, today the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with veteran linebacker Omar Gaither. The 6 year veteran spent 5 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and the 2011 season with the Carolina Panthers, where he started 4 games. Having started 77 games in his career, the 28 year old is on the right side of age when it comes to football. He will provide another veteran presence in a thin linebacker position, with only Tim Dobbins, Bradie James and Mister Alexander as the only healthy players for…

Inside Linebacker Concern Today with Keyaron Fox going down with a “significant” knee injury, Brian Cushing spending the night in the hospital with a virus, and rookie Shawn Loiseau fighting a groin issue, the Texans were down to three able bodies with Bradie James, Mister Alexander and Tim Dobbins.
