Possible Heart Procedure for Arian Foster

According to Alex Flanagan of NFL Network and NBC, Arian Foster is considering minor surgery to correct a heart condition which sidelined him in week 16 of the 2012 season. The Pro Bowl running back for the Texans is expected to make a decision on whether to have a heart ablation to remedy an irregular heartbeat. Foster told Flanagan that the biggest concern with the irregular heartbeat is shortness of breath. Texans Release Javarris Williams

According to Javarris Williams (RB) via his Twitter account, Williams,  has been informed of his release from the Houston Texans. Williams (5’10″, 223 lbs., 26 yrs.,) is a Richmond, TX native who went on to start for 3 years at running back for Tennessee State University.  There Williams had a standout freshman year and 3 straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons. He went on to receive a degree in Computer Business Systems. Williams was drafted in the 7th round of the 2009 draft by the Kansas City Chiefs but saw limited action during his time there. Per Evan Silva of ProFootballTalk.com and RotoWorld.com, 2012 Texans Undrafted Free Agent wide receiver Dwight Jones of University of North Carolina has quit the team. Jones was once a promising prospect whom many draft analysts had rated as high as a 3rd or 4th round pick in the draft.  As the 2011 season continued, his stock fell considerably as many questioned his work ethic and commitment.
