Matt Schaub Honored at Virginia

Today at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia, the University of Virginia retired Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub‘s number from the football program. Schaub who played for the Cavaliers between 2000-2003 became the starter in 2002 and soon became one the greatest quarterbacks in the school’s history.
Schaub was the 20th player in the university’s history to receive this honor and his #7 will be not worn again. He was the last quarterback to record a win against rival Virginia Tech in 2003, when Schaub passed for 358 yards and two touchdowns for a 35-21 victory over the Hokies.
Extremely honored and humbled for the induction into the Legends walk at UVa and having #7 retired.
