Arian Foster Comes Through for a Fan

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has been known to rub fans the wrong way but this time he came through for a particular fan. About two weeks ago a fan tweeted out a picture that said it was her and the Texans running back. Foster soon responded to the girl to let him know it was not him, and the tweet went viral. Ran into @ArianFoster at Pub Fiction last night! SOTT Scouting: Kendrick Lewis

Mar 25, 2014

A depth signing by the Houston Texans, safety Kendrick Lewis has plenty to prove to make the 53 man roster coming out of training camp. Lewis was a nice surprise for the Chiefs as a 5th round pick out of Mississippi and was supposed to be a dynamic duo with Eric Berry.  His best season was his rookie season and heading into his 4th year his play slipped after Romeo Crennel was fired by the Chiefs. He had shoulder surgery after the 2011 season, and injured the shoulder in the 2012 preseason that caused him to miss 7 games. Lewis never returned to his form…

Busting NFL Draft Myths: Only Quarterback Can Be Selected Number One

Radio hosts who are asked to give their opinion daily will often say things that are far out there and end up being false, but that’s the nature of the job. Everyone makes mistakes and if you’re quoted and asked to give predictions that often, you’re obviously going to get a few wrong. I don’t get worked up over the standard missed prediction, but when I see articles like this, I can’t let it go unchallenged as truth. If you haven’t read the article click here. OK, ready? In 35 games over three seasons at South Bend, Tuitt had 127 total tackles wit 21.5 sacks…

SOTT’s Texans Seven Round Mock Draft 2.0

To determine which players would be available for each pick, I used the prospect rankings from CBS Sports. The draft obviously won’t go in the exact order of any website’s rankings, but to avoid guessing on availability in the late rounds, I will go by the list from CBS. As long as a player is ranked within three spots of the Texans pick, I will consider them available. Some players were selected a little early, but since I’m not factoring in trading back (endless possibilities), I had to choose between taking them early or losing them to another team. Note…
