Posey Slated to Return Opening of 2013 Season

This is interesting news considering the severity of the injury DeVier Posey suffered against the New England Patriots in the Divisional playoff game late in the 4th quarter. Achilles injuries are difficult injuries to predict, especially with the one former Houston Texans linebacker DeMeco Ryans suffered in 2010 which took him almost the entire 2011 season to appear fully healthy.
Posey’s recovery is yet to be seen but the Texans need to be careful and not fall into the same issue they had with Darryl Sharpton with his injury status coming into the 2012 season. The Texans miscalculated his recovery and ended up scrambling to fill the void with Bradie James left by Sharpton. It is better for the Texans to still go into the draft and free agency looking for another wide receiver to strengthen the position group.
