Voting Dates are as follows
Final Four: June 8,9,10
Championship: June 11-12
Chester Pitts vs. Eric Winston
Mr. Texan started 114 straight games for the Texans since their inaugural season. A knee injury in the 2009 season ended his career as a Texan, but his overall contribution as a player since day one is something that will not be forgotten.
Started 87 straight games for the Texans, including the playoffs. Winston has been a staple of the offensive line. The right tackle was an anchor on the right side of one of the best offensive lines the past two seasons.
Vonta Leach vs. DeMeco Ryans
Leach was an undrafted free agent who found a home in Houston and ended up making the Pro Bowl (2010) before he left in free agency. Leach’s biggest game was when he was destroying Colts players, opening holes for Arian Foster’s big day in 2010. Leach also played special teams and gave the offense much-needed attitude.
The Captain leads the franchise in Total tackles (636), Fumble recoveries (8), and Defensive Games Played (86). Was also named the 2006 AP Defensive ROY and had two Pro Bowl Selections (2007, 2009).
