In an impressive bounce back game, the Houston Texans finally defeated the Baltimore Ravens for the first time in franchise history with a score of 43-13. The defense looked like their old self, while the offense took to the air to rack up yards against a depleted Ravens team. The Texans turned in their first truly poor performance of the season on Sunday night, falling to the Green Bay Packers 42-24. This was their first loss of the season and it moved their record to 5-1. Stupid penalties on fourth down gave the Packers 11 points, but the reality is the Texans did not play well. The reeling Green Bay Packers invaded Reliant Stadium after losing a close ball game to the Indianapolis Colts. The Packers, in a must win situation to keep from becoming a 2-4 ball club, came into the game looking to rebound from a loss and make a statement. The Tennessee Titans came into Reliant Stadium to battle the Houston Texans in the second divisional matchup for Houston. The Texans went into this game expecting to contain quarterback Jake Locker and stuff the run, but it was evident that Chris Johnson didn’t get that memo. With a 31-25 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the Texans moved to 3-0 for the first time in their brief history. After taking a 20-point lead going into the 4th quarter, the Texans allowed 14 points, but managed to hang on to leave Denver with a six-point win.
