According to Houston Fox Sports’ Mark Berman, the Houston Texans extended the contracts of both Matt Schaub and Tim Jamison before Sunday’s game. The deals were announced after the Texans win over the Miami Dolphins, with both of them being potential free agents for the 2013 season. The Texans gave their starting quarterback, Schaub, a 4 year deal worth $62 million dollars, $24.75 million of that contract is guaranteed. The rumors became truth today when Brown and the Texans agreed on a new deal. With rookies reporting to training camp in 5 days, the Houston Texans are working hard to bring in their last two unsigned rookie 3rd round draft picks, DeVier Posey (68th overall) and Brandon Brooks (76th overall).
