Texans Release Two Rookies
Nick Scurfield of the Houston Texans has announced the team has cut their first two players heading into the 2012 training camp, both rookie free agents. Rookie free agents defensive back Desmond Marrow and fullback Jason Ford have been released two days prior to the opening of training camp. Marrow was a rookie from Toledo while Ford was a converted tailback to fullback from Illinois, and both were considered long shots to make the team. Usually with moves like these there are corresponding moves, lets see if this holds true. These moves leave the Texans with 86 on the active roster.

With OTAs first and second days complete the Texans have some news brewing at Reliant. – According to Austin American Statesman sports columnist, Kirk Bohls, University of Texas defensive coordinator Manny Diaz is scheduled to meet with the Texans this week. The reason for the visit is still unknown, but one would think there has to be an opportunity for Diaz to come talk with the team. Texans Start Bringing in Prospects
The Houston Texans closing in on the NFL Draft are bringing in potential draft picks for some workouts. The news on players who are coming to visit Reliant is slowly trickling in and we will update the players who will be visiting leading up to the Draft in April.
