DeVier Posey Suffers Torn Achillies

According to John McClain, Houston Texans wide receiver DeVier Posey suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the divisional playoff game against the New England Patriots. The injury happen late in the 4th quarter that required Posey to be carted off after falling down in the end zone. Posey had a good night with three catches for 47 yards and an impressive touchdown reception that required a challenge flag to overturn an incomplete call on the field. Surgery for Jean and Demps

Today Head Coach Gary Kubiak informed the media that safety Quintin Demps and wide receiver Lestar Jean will need surgery for their respective injuries. Demps had surgery Monday morning to repair his thumb, but is expected to be ready for Sunday against the Tennessee Titans with a cast. He was in a cast during the Broncos game starting in the first quarter, so it will be interesting to see if he can continue at high level of play.
