Texans Host Anthony Williams from Fresno State
According to reports, Humble native, defensive end Anthony Williams (6-2, 296 lbs.) had a private workout with the Houston Texans. Williams went to high school at Atascocita and graduated from Fresno State where he played for the Bulldogs since 2008. During his time at Fresno State, Williams was slowed by injuries, and missed half of his senior season. In 2012, Williams appeared in 6 games before suffering a foot injury that ended his season. He posted 13 total tackles, 3 TFLs and 1/2 sack for the Bulldogs. Williams is to be reported to have benched pressed 225 lbs.- 44 times which caught the scouts attention.

With Mike Kerns’ 7 round mock in the books, I definitely have to take a stab at the all elusive picks that possibly could happen for the Texans in April’s draft. By no mean do I know it all or say I do, but one thing is for certain I wish this draft would get here so we could stop talking about it. With that said….
