The Houston Texans hosted University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s LiDarral Bailey who was the Crusaders quarterback. Bailey (5-11, 175 lbs.) his Senior season threw from 2,642 yard with a 70.7 completion percentage and 30 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions. He also ran from 1,102 yards with 15 touchdowns averaging 6.4 yards a carry. Bailey participated in the inaugural Dream Bowl game in Salem, Virginia where he earned Offensive MVP honors in a 37-0 win. Wide Receiver and University of Connecticut graduate Michael Smith had a workout for the Houston Texans on Saturday. Smith at 6-1 and 201 lbs. is from Houston and attended Westside High School, and during his senior season he had 74 catches for 1,024 yards and 11 touchdowns. At Connecticut, Smith had 104 career receptions with 1,329 yards and 3 touchdowns, with his junior season being his best numbers year with 46 receptions for 615 yards and 2 touchdowns. Former Oregon Ducks and Calgary Stampeders quarterback Darron Thomas (6-3, 215 lbs.) worked out for the Houston Texans at a recent private session. Thomas is a homegrown Houston talent where he graduated from Aldine High School and attended Oregon in 2008. Thomas led the Ducks to the 2011 BCS National Championship where they lost to the Auburn Tigers on a last second field goal. That season (2010) Thomas threw for 2,881 yards and 30 touchdowns which lead to a 12-0 regular season record for the Ducks. Texans Host Anthony Williams from Fresno State

According to reports, Humble native, defensive end Anthony Williams (6-2, 296 lbs.) had a private workout with the Houston Texans. Williams went to high school at Atascocita and graduated from Fresno State where he played for the Bulldogs since 2008. During his time at Fresno State, Williams was slowed by injuries, and missed half of his senior season. In 2012, Williams appeared in 6 games before suffering a foot injury that ended his season. He posted 13 total tackles, 3 TFLs and 1/2 sack for the Bulldogs. Williams is to be reported to have benched pressed 225 lbs.- 44 times which caught the scouts attention.

The Houston Texans  hosted Spring native and Sam Houston Bearkat, wide receiver Trey Diller. Diller measures at 6-2 and 200 lbs. and during his senior season he caught 62 passes for 927 yards and four touchdowns for the Sam Houston State Bearkats. He led the Southland conference in all-purpose yardage his final season with 1,810 yards.  At Sam Houston, Diller in two seasons, posted 77 career receptions with 1196 yards and 7 touchdowns. The Houston Texans hosted two Texas A&M Aggies at a private workout at the Methodist Training Center. Aggies wide receiver, Kenric McNeal (pictured above) and defensive back C.J. Jones were some of the workouts on a busy Saturday for the Texans. McNeal ran a 4.44 second 40-yard dash, and impressed according to reports from his workout.
