D-Day Is Upon Us

Mario Williams

With the league year on the horizon and the new season set to start on Tuesday (March 13th) at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time, the Houston Texans like every team in the NFL will have to have their current roster under the $120.6 million dollar cap figure. Heading into Tuesday, it will be crystal clear on what the Texans’ roster will look like and the direction they will look heading into the free agency period and NFL Draft. The Texans’ fan base will get some ease to their minds, especially with the soon to be decided future of Mario Williams. Williams’ contract future…

He actually had a kicking “competition” when he arrived in 2010 with Brown, but the writing was on the wall with Rackers coming in.

Texans Have Playoff Experience to Lean On

While listening to Gary Kubiak’s press conference from Monday,  one of the media members said the Houston Texans only have 7 players with playoff experience. To make sure we looked up the Texans roster and found out that the Texans have 11 players with game action in the playoffs and actually have 5 players who have played in the Super Bowl.   After Saturday, the Texans will have a roster filled with playoff experience, but with these 11 players can be leaned on for what the playoffs are all about and what could be expected. The good thing about the list…

10 Thoughts: Texans vs. Buccaneers

This might cap off one of the most surprising turnarounds in the NFL this season, especially after things were looking bleak after a tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens in week 6. The Houston Texans have rattled off 4 straight wins and taken control of their season with a 7-3 record. The Texans control their own future and things could not be looking any better for the city of Houston regarding this “new look” football team.   Once again the Texans dominated their opponent and made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quit, that is what we saw, and take a embarrassing loss…
