Today according to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain, the Houston Texans signed free agent quarterback and former Texas A&M Aggie, Stephen McGee. The former backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, was a 4th round pick (101st overall) in the 2009 NFL draft, and was the back up his three seasons in Dallas. McGee was drafted by Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips out of college when he was the head coach of the Cowboys. The season is over and now it is time to look at the Houston Texans rookies and give our grades for them this season. The Draft Picks Jared Crick- A spot player but made the defensive line rotation after Tim Jamison went down for the season with an injury. DeVier Posey Suffers Torn Achillies
According to John McClain, Houston Texans wide receiver DeVier Posey suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the divisional playoff game against the New England Patriots. The injury happen late in the 4th quarter that required Posey to be carted off after falling down in the end zone. Posey had a good night with three catches for 47 yards and an impressive touchdown reception that required a challenge flag to overturn an incomplete call on the field.
