Texans Release Two Rookies
Nick Scurfield of the Houston Texans has announced the team has cut their first two players heading into the 2012 training camp, both rookie free agents. Rookie free agents defensive back Desmond Marrow and fullback Jason Ford have been released two days prior to the opening of training camp. Marrow was a rookie from Toledo while Ford was a converted tailback to fullback from Illinois, and both were considered long shots to make the team. Usually with moves like these there are corresponding moves, lets see if this holds true. These moves leave the Texans with 86 on the active roster.
DeVier Posey Signs Rookie Deal
According to multiple sources the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with their 3rd round pick (68th overall) rookie wide receiver from the Ohio State University, DeVier Posey. In his deal he gets $2.69 million, 4-year deal with signing bonus of $684,092 and his base salaries break down like this: 1st year- $390k 2nd year- $510k 3rd year- $630k 4th year- $748k Posey signs at a great time where he can report with his fellow rookies on time and be in training camp when if officially kicks off at week’s end. One to Watch: Loni Fangupo

Bryant to be the football player he is today, and then some.
