The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Bills Edition
The Houston Texans hosted Mario Williams and the Buffalo Bills at Reliant Stadium in what was called “Judgment Day” by Williams himself. Williams’ game was nothing to ride home about. He lit up the stat sheet with five tackles, two assists, and one sack. He had his best game of the season for his new team against the Texans. Williams wasn’t impactful and Houston moved the ball on the ground and in the air and there was nothing Williams could do about it.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
THE GOOD
Andre Johnson looked as close to the ole’ Andre as he did in week one. Johnson says that he is feeling better and healthy. This is good news as the closer we get to the end of the season we need the 1500 yard Andre so that we can make sure that defenses stay honest against the run. Johnson contributed with 8 catches for 118 yards. The longest pass play that Johnson caught was for 34 yards. The passing game was working for the Texans and there was very little resistance by Buffalo. The special teams unit did a very good job of containing Leodis McKelvin one of the more dangerous returners in the league.
THE BAD
There wasn’t anything bad about the game Sunday, but if I have to give some constructive criticism I will say the sluggish start by the offense. The Texans started off the game slow by going four plays and having to punt. For an offense loaded with weapons the Texans first run of scripted plays weren’t as effective as they should have been. It has become increasingly apparent that this teams’ identity has changed from an offensive team to a defensive team. This team goes as its defense dominates. I would like to see the offense begin to the game faster going forward; however the Texans got the win so there isn’t much to complain about.
THE UGLY
Penalties against the offensive line were the worst part of the game. The Texans had a couple of their big plays in the game called back due to penalties. This was very uncharacteristic of this team as they work on being disciplined in every aspect of their offensive scheme. This will be cleaned up before going into their next game versus the Chicago Bears.
